Educators: Introducing Students to Land Surveying Careers

As an educator, you have a unique opportunity to expose students to the growing and rewarding field of land surveying. Inspire the next generation of professionals by incorporating surveying into your classroom, career events, and extracurricular activities.

Trig-Star Competition

The Trig-Star Program is an annual, statewide competition for students across Indiana. It challenges participants to solve trigonometry problems using:

  • Right triangle formulas
  • The laws of sines and cosines

Why participate?

This timed activity is a great way to introduce students to the math behind land surveying in a fun and competitive setting.
